Custom Bows - Wooden Bows
All our custom bows are made historically right. We split logs and go with the way the tree grows just as god intended and the way they have been done for thousands of years. At WhipperWhil Archery we don’t just saw up the wood, we use hand tools which allow us to use a delicate touch allowing us to go with the natural growth of the tree.
The Bow Making Process
All selfbows are made from logs that have been split and the wood is dried to 7-10 % moisture content. Then the bow staves are worked to one growth ring of the tree for the backs of the bows . Then the profile of the bow is worked on the natural growth of the tree . Every bow is unique to itself. All bows are handcrafted and all work is guaranteed. We stand behind our work. All bows made to your draw length and your weight requirement. 25-55 lbs . Any bows over 55 lbs to 100 lbs are $100.00 dollars extra.

Custom Bow Pricing
Bows start out at $300.00 dollars Depending on Style and Customizations. Yew bows are $800.00.
We Also make Kids Bows starting at $125.00. The Kids Bow arrows are $40.00 a half dozen.
